New to Cruising?

Perhaps this is the first time you are entertaining the idea of a cruise. There are some common objections to cruising, which we will discuss momentarily. But here are some great points about cruise vacations:
- Truly experience the ports of call – leave the transportation and the sight-seeing to the experts
- Unpack once. Relax. What could be better?
- Experience the luxury of being looked after by the world’s best staff
- Options, options, options! Beach, active tourism, relaxing, sightseeing, shopping, cultural experience, exploring a new city, etc.
- Enjoy world class dining right on board your floating hotel
So what about common objections?
- It’s too expensive! The cost of a cruise, when you boil it down to a daily spend, usually comes out less than a traditional vacation. Think about it: you are not paying for transportation, lodging, and some of the meals. You are moving from location to location without buying train or plane tickets.
- It’s just not my speed. Each cruise line has something to offer everyone. Cruises are not just for one particular age or interest group.
- I’ll get seasick! Today’s cruise ships are highly stable and have elaborate systems of balance and flotation. Plus, if you are concerned, there are medicinal and non-medicinal ways to ward off any motion sickness. Why not try a 3 day cruise to see how it feels?
- I’ll get bored! Cruises are just not boring. There is plenty to do – or not do. You can play in the casino, shop, go to the spa or the gym, go to a show, and on some cruise lines you can even go to lectures or take lessons (cooking, dancing, wine tasting to name a few).
Let us help you figure out what itineraries and cruise lines work best for your personal tastes! There is something for everybody. Why not give it a try?
